Ayatullah Mohammad Taqi Bahjat Passes Away

Funeral procession was held for Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Bahjat in the holy city of Qom Tuesday. A huge crowd of mourning people from all over the country as well as abroad took part in the funeral procession. The body of the demised Ayatollah was laid to rest in the Shrine of Hazrat Ma'soumeh (SA), sister of the 8th Shii Imam. The Grand ayatollah Bahjat, who had millions of religious followers inside and outside Iran, died due to a heart failure at the age of 96 in Qom on Sunday.
